There have been reports of the network slowing down when transferring files 
between Windows 7 / PoS ready 7. Microsoft has said that this problem is 
directly caused by the 'improved' file sharing offered by Windows 7 (SMB2). 
There is a Windows registry entry described below that is required to fix slow 
network issues in Windows 7 / PoS ready 7. 
 
Note: The latest RZ-X655 / 730 install file (dated Feb 2015) available from 
the technical website will create the registry entry to disable SMB2 
automatically during installation. 
 
1  Click on ‘Start’ 
2  Type ‘Regedit’ in to the search bar (this will open the Registry editor) 
 
 
 
3  Click the plus on ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE’
