1.CONFIGURING THE WINDOWS XP ‘TCP/IP NETWORK IP ADDRESS

Click Start – Control Panel – ‘Network and Internet connection’s – then from the ‘or pick a
control panel icon’ area select ‘Network Connections’.

Within ‘Network Connections’ – ‘LAN or High-speed Internet’ – right click the ‘Local Area
Connection’ icon using the mouse or press ALT + F10 on the keyboard. From the drop
down list select Properties.

Highlight ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’ and select Properties. As shown above.

Select ‘Use the following IP address’ and then enter the required IP address and Subnet
mask for your system and click ‘OK’. NOTE The Sharp POS software default IP Address is
