It is now possible to use more than one Receipt and Bill printer from one Till, 
this is done by redirecting a print job from one device to another. 
 
Example, 
 
If a site using  
2 x 5500 (SharpPOS software) 
1 x Bill Printer connected to the com 2 Master Till 1 
1 x Bill Printer connected to the com 2 Slave Till 2 
2 x Handheld (SharpPOS+) 
 
The customer wants to install another Bill printer near to the restaurant tables 
so that when bill and receipts are requested from the Handheld they can be 
easily reached. 
 
Previously this was not possible. 
 
An unused voucher printer can now be used to redirect receipts / bills from a 
handheld. 
 
Programming 
 
The voucher printer TM-88 is connected to Com port 1 on Till2 
 
1.  Add the required setting below to the C:\Vpro\data\tillxxx\s2001.ini on 
the master till and till2 
03BILL=02VOUCHER 
03RECEIPT=02VOUCHER 
04BILL=02VOUCHER 
04RECEIPT=02VOUCHER 
 
2.  Within VPM – Printers – Till2 – enable the Voucher Printer for Com 1. 
 
3.  Within VPM – Configure – Till Configuration – Till2 – Set the voucher 
printer as 2 
 
4.  Within VPM – Configure – Till Configuration – Till3 (proxy) – Set the 
voucher printer as 2 
 
5.  Within VPM – Configure – Till Configuration – Till3 (proxy) – Set the Bill 
printer as 3

Operation 
 
1.  When a bill or receipt is now requested it will print out on the Voucher 
printer that is connected to Com 1 on till 2.
