RZ-X750 VESA mounting
Due to the fanless design of the RZ-X750, it is important to have the LCD bracket proper mounted to the main
unit. In this case the heat sink at the LCD bracket touches the heat sink of the main board and the LCD bracket
is used for heat dissipation. Please see below picture which shows the LCD bracket disassembled from the main
unit:
In case a VESA stand shall be mounted instead of the standard stand, proper heat absorption from the main
board must be ensured. Because the mounting plate of the VESA stand might be flat, there will be not sufficient
contact to the heat sink of the main board. This may result in overheating of the main unit and a shut down of
the system. Therefore it is absolutely necessary to mount the VESA stand to the LCD bracket, but NOT directly
to the main unit. Please see below picture.
Important: The screw length depends on the thickness of the VESA stand plate together with the LCD bracket.
Please take care that the part of the screw which will be turned into the main unit is not longer than 7mm.
(Of course, black screws should be used instead of silver ones. This is only an example for better visibility.)
