POS UTILITY
Product File Import Guide
Pos Utility has the ability to import a product file from a .csv file. Sharp have
created a product file which contains around 13000 EAN products that can be used
as part of a demo program.
To import this file into POS Utility, please follow this procedure.

1)
Start POS Utility
2)
Select File > Create New Database > Enter new database name or enter a
name of an existing database.
Once the database has been created, the product file can now be imported. Please
note that a department record has to be created before the product file can be
edited.
The sample product file uses deparment 1, please create deparment 1.
3)
Select File > Import/Export > Import Product Data
4)
Navigate to POSUTILITYPRODUCTS.CSV and click OPEN.
5)
POS Utility will now start to import the products into the database.

Once the import has finished, press the PRODUCTS button to view the
imported products.

From the products window, each product can be edited to suite your program
requirements.
8)
Before downloading these products to your ECR, please ensure the file
memory area has been created with enough records.
