Delete Spool Files
OVERVIEW
The system stores all report information in spool files until the relevant printer is accessible.
This includes all printer types; audit, dispense, receipt and bill. In the unlikely event of a
printer being out of use, the spool files for that printer will accumulate. This facility provides a
way of removing the spool files from the terminal. Failure to do so will result in disk space
being used unnecessarily.

If a printer is unavailable for use, you should change the parameters set for the
terminal so that the printing is directed to another device.

DELETING SPOOL FILES
NOTE:
This option is available on all terminals and should not be used whilst other
terminals are trading.

Use the down arrow button to move the cursor to the Delete Spool Files
option on the Main Menu.

If the available disk space on a terminal falls below 20k, warning messages are
displayed when a new transaction is started or when Trading is selected from
the Main Menu. You should delete the spool files at the earliest convenience.

and the system will stop operating.
