The LED in the display part of the above models may have the segment failure in some cases.
Therefore the corrective action is advised:
Cause:
A
 defective PWB was wrongly used inside LED with some products, this may cause the LED
display segments failure.
*The model names where the failure has been reported from the field are XE-A101/ ER-
A310/330.
The affected LED’s are the 2 segment LED panel with Part Code: VHPD5680GL2-1, and the 1
segment LED panel Parts Code: VHPS5680GL2-1.
Action:
For the field:
When the LED display segments failure occurs, please replace the defective LED with the
corrected one.
The LED’s in the production months of March to August 2002 may have possibility of the
segment failure.

VHPD5680GL2-1 Double LED Segment
VHPS5680GL2-1
 Single LED Segment
Please use the Under Guarantee repair claims summary form to reclaim warranty
