CHAPTER 3. SERVICE PRECAUTION
1. IPL PROCEDURE FROM EP-ROM
1) Power Switch is OFF
2) Jumber PIN on CPU PWB is set to IPL mode
3) Set 4 EP-ROM to the IPL board and set the IPL board on Sub PWB
(ROM number is printed on IPL board)
4) Reset switch of right side of cabinet is set to ON position
5) Power Switch is ON and IPL starts
6) After “Complete” message appear on operator display, Turn off
Power switch
7) Remove the IPL board from Sub PWB and set Jumber PIN on CPU
PWB to Normal position.
8) Please do master reset
