(2) LED Check
The pop-up display (7-segment 7-digit LED) check is performed.

The test patterns are displayed in the following procedures. When
the panel or any key is pressed, the nest pattern is displayed.

3-9. TCP/IP STACK NETWORK DIAGNOSTICS
The program performs the TCP/IP stack test.
The test requirements are as follows:
• UP-820N/820F
• 10BASE-T cable (for data transfer testing)
• HUB (for loop back test and data transfer test where more than 2
units of satellites are used.)
(1) LOOPBACK Check

Install a straight cable between the LAN connector and the HUB
and execute the loop back test command to send and receive 1
packet of data.

The program reads the version of the MAC address and firmware

(3) Data Transmission Check
This test is used to check data transmission in an actually configured
system. The check is made with one master machine and max. 31 sets
of satellite machines.
Note for starting the test
• If the target machine includes LAN setting, cancel the LAN setting
before execution of this test.
• When the test is made with an already configured system, disconnect
the LAN cable of the machine which is not a target of the test or can-
cel the LAN setting. If the LAN setting is kept remained, data may be

LAN setting of all the machines of the system. Also note that satellite
machines must be set before setting the master machine.
