(1) The firmware for ER-A6HS1 has been improved from the first product in Dec.,

1996.

(2) The ROM for each model has been changed as follows.

1: Both firmware improvement and ROM change have been performed this time 

for the following SSP.

SSPA610-004: A memory is destroyed for more than 8,000 customer files.

SSPA610-007: For a GLU reorder, the first registration shows a half-printed 

registration.

DISTINCTION OF THE IMPROVED FIRMWARE FOR THE ER-A6HS1

For the distinction of the improved firmware, an oil-ink mark has been added on the

rating plate of the scanner.  And a mark "REV. A" has also been added on the right

side of the lot number on both individual and shipping cases.
