General:
Drawer Solenoid fuse blowing.
Cause:
When the transistor of the drawer drive circuit is turned off, counter electromotive
force is generated from the drawer solenoid. The counter electromotive force
exceeds the Load tolerance of the transistor, the transistor cannot endure this so the
fuse blows due to the collector - emitter short circuit.

Action:
In order to absorb the electromotive force of the drawer solenoid, the diode
(VHD1N4002//-1) or (VHD1SR139-400) is to be added to both ends of the drawer
solenoid.
Also in addition to adding the diodes the IC protector (QFS-K2007BHZZ)
(VHD1N4002//-1) or (VHD1SR139-400) is to be added to both ends of the drawer
solenoid.
Also in addition to adding the diodes the IC protector (QFS-K2007BHZZ)
The locations are shown below.
For the field: ER-A220
Add the diodes to the main PWB unit. And change the IC protector.
The changes are implemented in the production month from May 2003.
