SYMPTOM DVD-RW disc problems:
•  Unit fails to initialise DVD -RW version 1.1 x2 speed disc
•  Fails to record onto a DVD -RW version 1.1 x2 speed disc
•  Failure to record or playback correctly with a DVD -RW version 1.1 x2 disc
CAUSE
DVD writer software.
ACTION
Update the DVD writer software to the latest version as instructed in the service
manual.
