Restoring the default settings 
You can restore all the default settings.
Caution:
This function resets the following settings: language, vol-
ume, equaliser, repeat play, intro scan, FM station, FM
auto scan, FM area, synchronised recording, record set-
tings, auto-power off, contrast, backlight, and sleep oper-
ation.
Checking memory status 
You can check the memory status before starting long
hours of recording, etc.

Perform steps 2 - 4 on page 40.

Within 10 seconds, move the menu button toward
+ or - to select "RESTORE", and press it.

Within 10 seconds, move the menu button toward
