[1] Caution on disassembly
Caution on Disassembly
Follow the below-mentioned notes when disassembling the unit and reassembling it, to keep it safe and ensure excellent performance:
1. Take DVD and compact disc out of the unit.
2. Be sure to remove the power supply plug from the wall outlet before starting to disassemble the unit.
3. Take off nylon bands or wire holders where they need to be removed when disassembling the unit. After servicing the unit, be sure to rearrange
the leads where they were before disassembling.

Note:
After removing the connector for the optical pickup from the
connector, wrap the conductive aluminium foil around the front end
of the connector so as to protect the optical pickup from electro-
static damage.

Note:
Push the terminal through the round hole with tweezers, etc.
To prevent deformation of the center lock, make sure to push back
the lock section in the arrow direction after removing the terminal.

This speaker CP-PX15HF/CP-PX15HC/CP-PX15HS is available in
assembles only and may not disassembled.
Note:
Push the terminal through the round hole with tweezers, etc.

1. Removing DVD/CD discs (See Fig. 1)
1. Slide the DVD/CD door (A1) x 1 in the arrow direction.
[2] Removing and reinstalling the main
parts
1. Removing DVD/CD door motor (See Figs. 2 and 3.)
1. Remove the front cabinet.
(See pages 3-1 to 3-3 for disassembly procedures.)
2. Remove the screws (A1) x 4 pcs.
3. Remove the DVD/CD door gear box ass’y from the front cabinet.
4. Remove the screws (A2) x 4 pcs.
5. Remove screws (A3) x 2 pcs., and then the DVD/CD door motor.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the gear.
(If the gear is damaged, abnormal noise may be made during
search.)
