Check the serial number of the unit and upgrade the firmware as required.

– Units not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty will be chargeable. 
 
Update the software as follows: 
1.  SB60_1026_121127.mot on the Main PWB using the S550-SFW1U Flash writer as 
mentioned under the heading MCU Software
2.  EP92A2E for SOEM 121011.hex on the HDMI PWB using the HDMI writer as 
mentioned under the heading HDMI Firmware

Loading the firmware to the Flash Writer 
 
1.  Download the software for the S550-SFW1U serial flash microcomputer programmer. 
2.  Extract the file and fol
low the instructions provided in the file “readme.txt”. 
3.  Once the serial flash programmer is installed, connect the programmer to a PC using a USB 
cable. 
4.  Open the S550-SFW1U application. 
5.  Within the S550-SFW1U application, use the settings as per the below picture. 
 
 
 
6.  Load the file SB60_1026_121127.mot. 
7. 
Select “Download” and the jig will have the latest firmware installed. 
8.  Exit the S550-SFW1U application and remove the jig from your PC. 
 
The jig is now programmed and ready to use.

Flash Writer Connection 
The connection between Flash Writer and Main Unit is shown as below. 
 
 
 
Flash Programming 
 
1.  Insert the FFC cable into the flash terminal at the bottom cabinet of the Main Unit (HT-SB60). 
2.  Plug the AC cord into an AC supply. The HT-SB60 LED lights up and the Flash writer 
POWER, PASS & ID ERR indicators will light up. 
3.  Press the START button on the jig to start programming. 
4.  The PASS indicator will flashing during programming 
5.  The PASS indicator will permanently light up once programming is completed. 
6.  Remove the AC cord from the AC supply. 
7.  Remove the FFC cable from the Main Unit. 
 
Confirmation of Updated Software Version 
 
1.  Plug the AC cord into the AC supply while holding down the "STANDBY" and "INPUT" 
buttons on the main unit. 
2.  The Display appears as - 
SB60 1026
 
3.  Press the STANDBY button again to return back to normal operation.
