When power is input at normal state, the Sub MPU reads
the adjustment data for the 176 points in the present mode
from the E²PROM, and inputs the compensation point data
to the SRAM through the LSI after performing curve
interpolation.  The compensating data is the data for the 16
horizontal points and the data for every other vertical
scanning line. Further, the adjustment point data for the 16
horizontal points can be adjusted between H:0000-3FFF
V:0000-3FFFF and the uncompensated data is H:2000
V:2000.
The LSI reads the RGB horizontal and vertical
compensating data  (6 channels in all: RH, RV, GH, GV,
BH, BV) from the SRAM in accordance with the CLOCK for
which the horizontal deflection pulse HP is multiplied 512
times by the PLL IC7104.  The LSI then outputs the 6
channel 16 bit serial data to the Dynamic DAC(D/A) IC
(IC7111-7113) while calculating the linear interpolation for
the data for every other scan line.
Note: Euro5-VP chassis has SRAM and Dynamic
DAC(D/A) IC each 2 pcs.
The 6 channel serial data and the LRCK , BCLK timing
pulse is then input to the Dynamic DAC D/A conversion
ICs.  This is then converted to analog, and output in a
dynamic convergence wave pattern at a maximum of
3.3Vp-p .
For static convergence the SUB MPU reads data from the
E²PROM when the power is turned on.  This data is then
sent to the STATIC CONVERGENCE IC by the 3 line bus,
and is output in an analog wave pattern at a maximum of
5Vp-p .
The dynamic convergence wave and the static wave are
combined at the Active L.P.F., and added to the Amp
(IC7001-IC7002).
The wave is amplified to a maximum 20Vp-p wave, and in
the amplifier (IC7001-IC7002) on the CP-Print Board,
current is sent to the convergence coils for each of the
projection tubes, carrying out vertical and horizontal
compensation.
The characters displayed in adjustment are output as the
RGB and YS signals from the OSDIC (IC7110) through the
4 line bus from the LSI, and combined with the test pattern
generated in the LSI.  This is then output to the RGB MIX
(IC7701) and displayed on the projection tubes. The
oscillating elements connected to SUB MPU pin 57 and 59
are 4 MHz.
