TP Tx ANA pull up wire open.
Set Marconi: Tx Test : Select "Tx Test" Mode
Set Marconi: Tx Test : Select "Tx Test" Mode
TX Power
Broad/Narrow : Select "Broad" Band Mode
Check TX Power reading more than +20 dBm - (Jig Loss from CN4 to CN3). When this value is NG, replace RF unit.
Receiving Sensitivity Check: ( indicates the button of Marconi.)
1. Connect audio cable positive lead to TP-AF ( 13 pin of CN600), negative lead to TP-GND ( 23 pin of CN600) and BNC
end to AF INPUT on Marconi.
2. Set Marconi:
end to AF INPUT on Marconi.
2. Set Marconi:
(a) Rx Test : Select Rx Test
(b) RF Gen ON/OFF : RF Output on
(c) FREQ.
: Input Rx Freq.= 904.560MHz (CH1)
(d) LEVEL : Input RF Level = (-30dBm)+(Fig Loss from CN1 to CN2)
(e) Mod Gen ON/OFF : FM on
(f) Freq.
: Input Audio Freq = 1.0kHz
(g) LEVEL : Input FM dev Level = 24kHz
(h) AF Filter 0.3 to 3.4k : Select AF Filter
3. Press SINAD button until the display shows the SINAD value and press dB button.
4. Press "Amplitude" of Marconi. Lower the value of Amplitude so that SINAD is 12 dB.
5. When pin 13 of CN600 (AF Out) is touched, confirm that Amplitude value of Marconi is less than {(-105 dBm)+Jig Loss from
CN1 to CN2)}. When this value is NG, replace RF unit.
Squelch Check:
1. Keep same RX TEST settings as in Receiving Sensitivity Check.
2. Connect scope (X1) positive lead to TP-SQL 15 pin of CN600 on RF UNIT, negative lead to TP-GND 23 pin of CN600 and
BNC end to scope. Set scope to following condition.
(a) TIME/DIV = 1 msec.
(b) VOLT/DIV = 1 V
3. Set RF GEN LEVEL to [-95dBm +(Jig Loss CN1
→
CN2) (+8 dBµ Vemf)]. Check scope voltage is LOW.
4. Set RF GEN LEVEL to [-120dBm +(Jig Loss CN1
→
CN2) (-7 dBµ Vemf)]. Check the scope voltage is HIGH.
5. When the scope does not show above condition, press " RF Gen and LEVEL " of Marconi and lower the value of
Amplitude so that SINAD is 12 dB.
When TP - SQL is touched, adjust VR801 until scope voltage toggles between LOW & HIGH. When VR801 cannot be adjusted
at this value, replace RF unit.

RSSI (Receiving Signal Strength Indicator) DC Voltage Check:
1. Set Marconi as same conditions of Receiving Sensitivity Check.
2. Connect positive lead of DC voltmeter to TP-RSSI and negative lead to TP-GND.
3. Confirm that RSSI value is +2.3 V±0.03 V.
4. When RSSI value is not +2.3 V±0.03 V, adjust the value at VR800. When RSSI cannot be adjusted at this value, replace
RF unit.
