Check T8, T9, IC101 pin 39 and
the surrounding area.

Check the soldering of RFM1 
and the surrounding area.

RF unit of the base unit 
(follow check procedure A). OK?    

Is the clock frequency at IC101
pin 1 of the base unit 5.184 MHz?

Are clock waveforms output to

lost immediately afterwards when 
the line is connected to the base 
unit and the talk button on the 
handset is pressed?
