General
The dye transfer sheet (Ink sheet) and the colour receiving paper (Paper Cassette) are fed into the printer facing each other and
are inserted between the thermal head and the platan roller.
The dye-agents are sublimated in accordance with the signals sent to the thermal head, diffused, and fixed on the colour devel-
oping layer. In this way, the picture is reproduced on paper. The printing process is repeated four times (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan
and over coat) to obtain the printout.
The three colors are deposited in different layers so as to mix colors and obtain a colour printout.
The sheet carries three colors (Yellow, magenta and cyan) one by one.
First, Yellow components from R, G and B signals prints a paper. Next, Magenta and Cyan components print a paper.
* Then protect the printed surface with Over Coat, and finish.
There is a detection mark at the beginning of each colour segment. After inserting the cassette and turning on the printer, equip-
ment roll the ink sheet until it reaches the beginning of the segment coated with the yellow colour.
The dye transfer sheet (Ink Sheet) is contained in a Ink Cassette.
