6 IN REGARD TO THE THERMOSTAT
FUNCTION
The Toaster Oven NT-T13N/P introduced this time has a built-in thermostat to prevent the
temperature inside the oven from becoming too high and to increase the safety. When this
thermostat reaches a given temperature, the power is cut automatically and when the temperature
drops, the power is switched on again automatically, and it is set to repeat this cycle. When the
customer uses the product, it is possible that this repeated power ON/OFF will lead toquestions
whether this is a defect or not.
●
Actually, there have been a considerable number of inquiries in Japan, where this model was
introduced earlier. The Caution Label at the upper part of the unit and the Operation Manual
indicate that this is not a defect, but incase of direct inquiries by customers, we request that you
assure them that this is no defect of the product.
●
Thermostat operation temperatures:
The thermostat is installed on the outside the oven, and the thermostat operation temperatures
(standard value) are as follows:
OFF temperature: 124 °C
❍
ON temperature: 112 °C
❍
●
Relation between the cooking time and the temperature at the center of the oven:
Temperature( C) at the center of the oven at rated voltage, no oven tray, with empty oven, at
800W.
●
When food to be prepared is placed into the oven, the time until the first OFF becomes one to two
minutes longer than shown above.
●
The thermostat operation time differs according to the type, quantity, and initial temperature of the
food to be prepared.
●
In the case of the specifications for Indonesia (570W), the time to the first OFF is about nine
minutes.
