Serial No.Label tells you the suffix code as follows.

There are two kinds of Digital Board, a new type, old type. The service of new type and old type Digital Boards should proceed
according to each respective procedure.
When replacing the Digital Board or parts on the Digital Board, first confirm if it is a new or old type Digital Board by referring to
the table below.
For the New Digital Board (Suffix code is C or later), see to 2.1. Schematic Diagram (Digital Board) (P.3), 2.2. Printed Circuit
Board (KX-FP207RU only) (P.5) and 2.3. Replacement Parts List (DIGITAL BOARD PARTS) (P.7) for detail.
And for the Old Digital Board (Suffix code is B or the previous B), see to the Service Manual for KX-FP207RU (Order No.
KMF0608021CE) for detail.

  (The fifth digit of the serial number is the suffix.)
