Pressing the [REC/PAUSE] for 10 seconds is invalid when the password is unset (because no need to delete the password).
4.3.1.3. Counting the Number of Bad Block in Flash Memory Function
The number of bad blocks in NAND flash memory is counted in order to evaluate the flash memory easily.
Procedures:
1. Enter into test mode, check all segment of LCD lights up.
2. Press and hold [FF] for 10 seconds.
(The display when count the number of bad blocks is shown in the figure below.)
Upper of 7 segment : Display [bAd], Lower of 7 segment : Display the number of bad blocks
Upper of 7 segment : Display [bAd], Lower of 7 segment : Display the number of bad blocks
Caution :
Any keys are no efficient while in this mode.
4.3.1.4. Finished Process Test Mode
You can check the unit to record or play back usually, the display of LCD, USB connection, and to charge a battery.
Caution :
When this checking operation is performed, all recorded data will be cleared.

Procedures:
1. Enter into test mode, check all segment of LCD lights up.
2. Slide [HOLD] down (HOLD OFF).
Pressing the [REC/PAUSE] start to confirm the RTC interrupt (109pin:RTCINT check), and decreases by pressing [STOP].
