3-3. FUNCTION OF EACH ICON.
Note
The time shown on the display is the estimated cycle time. If the sensors and microprocessor elect to
make changes during the cycle, the display will be adjusted accordingly.
The full color LCD touch screen controls are operated by touching the icons or various areas of the screen as described in this Use &Care
Guide. Touching the icons, buttons or tabs changes the displayed information or navigates among the different screens. In some cases,
special popup screens will be displayed to confirm your choices or to give you certain information about the operation or function.
Operating guides and other information are also available on the PREFERENCES screen as described on pages 17.
• The HOME screen will dim after four minutes of inactivity. Touch the screen to brighten the screen, view the display, make additional
changes or operate the washer. If no icons are touched after the screen is reactivated, or if the screen remains dimmed for one minute
when a cycle is not running, the control will shut off and all settings will be lost.
POWER (ON/OFF) BUTTON
Press the POWER button to turn the washer ON. The start up
screen will display the logo briefly while the graphics are
loading, followed by the HOME screen. Press the button again
to turn the washer OFF. Pressing the POWER button during a
cycle will cancel that cycle and any settings will be lost.
NOTE: Water remaining in the tub after the power is turned off
will be drained.
CYCLES
The top row of the HOME screen displays cycle names and
icons; the default cycle will be Normal/Casual. The display will
show five cycles at a time. Saved MyCycles for the selected
user will be displayed on either side of the Normal/Casual
cycle. Refer to the cycle guide on pages 18-19.
NAVIGATION ARROWS
Use the arrows to navigate through the available cycles. The
display shows five cycles at a time. Touch the arrows to scroll
the cycle list to the right or left. The cycles are displayed in a
looped list so that all cycles are available in either direction.
CYCLE SETTINGS AND OPTIONS BUTTONS
This row of buttons accesses the cycle settings and options.
Touching these buttons changes the display to allow
adjustments to the settings or the selection of options.
START
Touch the START button to start the selected cycle. Once the
cycle has been started, the TIME & STATUS screen will be
displayed.
CONTROL LOCKOUT
Touch and hold the Control Lockout icon for five seconds to
disable all of the controls except for the POWER button.
This feature can prevent children from changing settings or
operating the machine. Once locked, the control will remain
locked until manually unlocked.
USERS
Touch the Users icon to change the selected user, or to access
the MANAGE USERS screen.
