Carefully unpack your speaker system and identify all components: 

• 

A  On Time 

• 

B  Power Supply 

• 

C  iPod adaptors 

• 

D  Aux audio cable 

• 

E  AM antenna 

General Setup

1) 

Unpack the JBL On Time and iPod adaptors and power adaptor 

2) 

Choose the appropriate iPod adaptor and place into docking station 

3) 

Place the iPod into the adaptor 

4) 

Plug power adaptor into jack marked 15Vdc in 

5) 

Plug adaptor into wall outlet 

6) 

If an additional audio source is used, connect source into Aux In 

7) 

Unwind the FM wire antenna.  Straighten the wire for the best reception 

8) 

Connect external AM Antenna for better reception 

9) 

If the use of an additional subwoofer is desired, connect to Sub Out jack 

10)  For backup memory settings, install 3 AAA batteries

From the 

“PLEASE SET CLOCK SCREEN” Press any Navigation key.  

2) 

Use “Left/Right” button 

  to set “hour” and press Enter 

3) 

Use “Left/Right” button 

  “minute” and press Enter 

4) 

Use “Left/Right” button 

  “day” and press Enter 

5) 

The JBL On Time will confirm the clock is set. 

Timecrawler – Auto time set 

The JBL On Time features 

TimeCrawler, which can set the clock automatically. The On Time scans to find a radio station that transmits the time, receives the signal and sets the clock. 

1) 

Press the “Menu Up/Back” button 

 until you reach the “JBL On Time” screen 

2) 

Use “Left/Right” button 

  to select “Set” and press Enter 

3) 

Use “Left/Right” button 

  to “SetCLK” and press Enter 

4) 

Use “Left/Right” button 

  “Auto” and press Enter 

The On Time will search for a radio station transmitting the time.  When TimeCrawler finds a station, the On Time will display the % complete.  The On Time will then show the time has 

been set.  If the On Time is not successful with Timecrawler, it will instruct you to set the time manually.  Please follow the Clock Setting Instructions shown above.

Press “Mode Select” button 

 to select the source (iPod, Radio, Aux.) 

2) 

Press “+” button 

 to increase volume 

3) 

Press “-“ button 

 to decrease volume 

1) 

Press the “Menu Up/Back” button 

 until you reach the “JBL On Time” screen 

2) 

Select “listen” and press Enter 

3) 

Select “radio” and press Enter 

4) 

Select “FM” or “AM” and press Enter
