Step 2. Choose correct iPod
adaptor type.  Press iPod adaptor
into on stage.
Step 3. Plug power adaptor into on
stage.  Connect adaptor to wall out-
let. 
Step 4. If using iPod with bottom
connector, dock iPod into front
connector of on stage.  
Symptom
No sound from on stage
speaker system.
Clicking/Ticking noise from
speakers
Possible problem
No power to system.
Power adapter plug not
inserted correctly.
No volume or low volume.
Input source is low.
Incorrect power supply
plugged into A/C jack or
firewire port.
Solution
Ensure power supply is connected to live
power source and properly connected to on
stage. Please note: When on stage is pow-
ered, a green power LED should illuminate.
Touch the volume “Up” (+) pad on the volume
control to unmute and/or increase the system
volume level.
Note: Touching the volume “Down” (-) pad
lowers the system volume. Touching both (+)
and (-) volume control pads at the same time
will mute the system.
Increase the volume level on the audio source
device.
Disconect non-JBL power supply.

Step 6. If needed, connect
Auxiliary input ( desktop or laptop
computer)  to AUX  connector.
Step 5. If using iPod Classic, connect
auxiliary cable from headphone to
AUX jack on back of  on stage.
Step 7. Press power button on
back of on stage.  Green LED will
light when on  stage  system  is on.
Step 8. Adjust  Volume using “+” 
to increase and “-” to decrease.
Press both to Mute the on stage.
Press either button to unmute.
Symptom
No Power.  Green LED in power
button is not on.
iPod volume control does not
increase audio volume.
Possible problem
Wall adaptor is not plugged into on
stage correctly.
Wall adaptor is not receiving AC
power.
Power button is not depressed.
iPod volume control only controls
volume output to the headphone
jack.
Solution
Check connection of wall adaptor.
Place wall adaptor in a known powered outlet.  Test outlet with a lamp
or other device.
Press power button located at the rear of the unit. Green LED will 
illuminate.
Use the on stage volume control buttons for volume control when the
iPod is docked on the on stage unit.
