1. Unscrew the bolt from the
bottom of the post.
2. Insert the post into the
hole at the rear of the base.
3. Orient the post so that
the openings near the top
and bottom of the post
face toward the rear of
the base, making sure that
the alignment fin on the shaft
fits into its corresponding
recess in the back of the
hole on the base.
4. Slip the bolt up through the
hole in the bottom of the base
and into the threaded hole in
the bottom of the post.
5. Check the alignment
of the post and base;
tighten firmly using a
3/4-inch socket wrench.

“Fish” the speaker wire
through the stand posts
and bring it out through the
round hole on the cone-
shaped fitting.
1. While looking at the top of
the stand, turn the “knurled”
nut (a) that is installed on top
of the threaded shaft (b), by
hand clockwise, until it is
seated against the top of the
stand post (c).
2. Place the speaker on top
of the stand, with its stand-
attachment hole on the
bottom aligned with the
stand’s threaded shaft (b).
Be careful when starting
the threads to avoid cross-
threading (misaligning the
threads – see Step 3);
cross-threading may damage
the speaker and/or the stand.
3. Once the threads are
properly aligned and engaged
(if the threads are not
properly engaged, the
speaker will not easily rotate
on the shaft), turn the speaker
clockwise (while looking at
the top of the speaker) 8 to 10
turns. The speaker should by
then be securely attached to
the stand post. Make sure
that the speaker grille is
facing forward.
4. Using a suitable wrench
(not included), securely
tighten the “knurled” nut (a)
up against the bottom of the
speaker until the floorstand
post and the speaker are
fully locked together, so
that neither can be rotated
by hand.
5. Pull the cone-shaped fitting
(d) up against the speaker
bottom, with its speaker wire
hole (e) toward the back.
6. Connect the speaker
wires to the speaker as
outlined in the speaker’s
owner’s manual.
