The apparatus under testing is a switching mode audio amplifier combined with a digital audio/video decoder,
a CD/DVD drive and a FM radio receiver. The audio amplifier is fed from one of the following sources: internal
CD/DVD drive, internal FM radio receiver, external SCART input, external AUX stereo input and external
digital audio input.
The load of the apparatus is maximal when playing 5.1-channel DVD and most tests are carried out in this
mode.
