PRODUCT ISSUES
Date:  6/21/00
Reported By:
Mike Christian
Product :TC1000/TAKE CONTROL
Explanation of Issue:  Does not learn the DVD or CD buttons of the
AVR300, AVR500 and AVR7000.
When the DVD or CD button is pressed on an AVR300, AVR500 or
AVR7000 remote, 2 codes are simultaniously transmitted. One code
switches the AVR to the proper source input, the other code turns your
H/K CD/DVD player on. This causes a problem when you try to learn
these codes with a Take Control as the Take Control can only learn one
code at a time.
Solution:  As per Rick Jordan, the solution is to program the AVR
remote for a different brand CD or DVD player (so it only transmits 1
code) before "learning" these buttons with the Take Control.
Remember to reprogram the AVR remote back to the original H/K code
(usually 001) when you're done.
