Explanation of Issue: Does not learn the DVD or CD buttons of the
AVR300, AVR500 and AVR7000.
When the DVD or CD button is pressed on an AVR300, AVR500 or
AVR300, AVR500 and AVR7000.
When the DVD or CD button is pressed on an AVR300, AVR500 or
AVR7000 remote, 2 codes are simultaniously transmitted. One code
switches the AVR to the proper source input, the other code turns your
H/K CD/DVD player on. This causes a problem when you try to learn
these codes with a Take Control as the Take Control can only learn one

Solution: As per Rick Jordan, the solution is to program the AVR
remote for a different brand CD or DVD player (so it only transmits 1
remote for a different brand CD or DVD player (so it only transmits 1
code) before "learning" these buttons with the Take Control.
Remember to reprogram the AVR remote back to the original H/K code
(usually 001) when you're done.
