FESTIVAL 60/80 CD CHANGER DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

1.  Separate CD assembly from rest of the unit.
2.  Turn unit upside down; there will be a single, conspicuous screw on the bottom at the back panel.  Remove
it.
3.  Rear cover, side & top cover are basically one piece.  There are friction grooves in both sides of the chassis
holding this entire cover on - (if you've ever taken a computer cover off it will be familiar). Holding the
bottom & front of the unit firmly, work the entire cover off of the unit.  WARNING: DO NOT JUST HOLD
ONTO THE FRONT PANEL WHEN PULLING ON THE COVER.
4.  With mechanism now exposed, there are two U-shaped tabs, per side, holding the front panel on.  Disengage
these from the chassis with a small screwdriver.
5.  Pull off the front panel, taking care not to damage the connectors still attached to it.
6.  Facing the front of the assembly, on the top, disconnect the molex connectors on the right side, whose wires
drape across the top of the black plastic CD cover.
7.  Pull wires & connectors over to the left.  Remove the 4 screws holding the cover on.
8.  Remove plastic cover.  Jammed CD's or individual plastic "drawers" can now be removed as needed.
