SOFTWARE UPGRADE PROCEDURE
USB Upgrade:
Preparation:
(1) USB Storage device
(2) Upgrade Binary file (Download from official website)
USB upgrade steps:
(1) Create a folder in USB storage device like “/UPG/”.
(2) Extract the Upgrade Binary file into “/UPG/”.
(3) Make sure that the path of Upgrade Binary is “/UPG/HK_BDS235.bin”.
(4) Plug in your USB Storage device into any USB port on BDS.
(5) Use HDMI cable to connect TV and “Monitor out” on your BDS.
(6) Boot up your BDS.
(7) Select the “Settings” on the home page by using the remote control.
(8) Select USB Upgrade in the following order:
“System” “System Upgrade” “USB”.
(9) Wait until BDS find the upgrade file in your USB Storage device, then select “OK” to start upgrading.
(10) Wait for upgrade procedure completion, then BDS will restart automatically.
Network Upgrade:
Preparation:
Wi‐Fi or Ethernet
Network upgrade steps:
(1) Connect the Ethernet cable to BDS.(Optional)
(2) Boot up your BDS.
(3) Select the “Settings” on the home page by using the remote control.
(4) Select “Network” to configure the network of BDS and make sure that your network is connected to the
Internet.
(5) Select Network Upgrade in the following order:
“System” “System Upgrade” “Internet”.
(6) Wait until BDS find the upgrade file in the server, then select “OK” to start upgrading.
(7) Wait for upgrade procedure completion, then BDS will restart automatically.
