 Subject:  Volume level changes by itself
Early AVR70 and AVR80’s could change volume level by themselves. This may happen on an occasional
random basis and depends on where the volume control knob is positioned after a volume adjustment.  During
two running production changes, new microprocessors were installed. For details, see the table below:

In the event you receive an AVR70 or AVR80 from a consumer with the complaint: “Receiver changes
volume by itself”, replace IC QU01 with h/k part # HU260JT130. In addition, for the AVR80 only, add diode
(DU13) - h/k part # HD 20029210  (ISS132 small signal diode)
