4.2 MAXIMUM E.I.R.P. SPECTRAL DENSITY
4.2.1 LIMITS
EN300 328 clause 4.3.2
For wide band modulations other then FHSS (e.g. DSSS, OFDM, etc.), the maximum e.i.r.p.
spectral density is limited to 10 mW per MHz.
4.2.2 TEST METHOD
EUT operation status:
Keep EUT on transmitting mode by the software provided by
manufacturer.
Pretest the EUT at different transmission rate and report show
the worst case data.

Test channel:
802.11b/g
Lowest channel: (2412MHz),Middle channel: (2442MHz),
Highest channel: (2472MHz)

Highest channel: (2472MHz)
Test condition:
Normal test conditions.
Test equipment used:
Refer to section 3.4
Test procedure:
1. Connect a low attenuation cable from the antenna port to
the spectrum.
2. Set spectrum analyzer center frequency is centered of test
channel; Set RBW and VBW = 1MHz. Sweep = auto. Span
is wide enough to cover the complete power envelope of
the signal of the EUT. Detector function = Peak. Trace =
Max hold; find the peak value of the power envelope. Save
the trace.

Remark:
Pre-scan all the rate, found that:
11Mbps of rate is the worst case of 802.11b;
54Mbps of rate is the worst case of 802.11g ;
