NOTE  FOR  FLEXIBLE  BOARD  OF  THE  OPTICAL  PICK-
UP (MG-613XE-187 only)
Note 1: Refer to SUPPLEMENT-2 for information of MG-614E-189.
When connecting or disconnecting the fl exible board of the opti-
cal pick-up to or from the CN2 of the SERVO board, follow the 
procedure given below.
Note 2: When soldering the short lands, solder within 5 seconds at the 
temperature of soldering iron below 300°C.
Disconnection:
1.  Solder two shortland.
2. Disconnect the fl exible board from the CN2 of the SERVO 
board.
Connection:
1. Connect 
the 
fl exible board to the CN2 of the SERVO board.
2.  Unsolder two shortland.
ABOUT  THE  SECURITY  FUNCTION
This unit does not use security function by password lock.
ABOUT  THE  DELETION  OF  EXT  TERMINAL 
(Russian model only)
The EXT terminal installed in Russian model is deleted in the mid-
way of production by specifi cation change. And with EXT termi-
nal deletion, related parts have also been changed.
Be sure to confi rm the existence of EXT terminal before repair.

REPLACING  THE  LITHIUM  BATTERY
OF  THE  REMOTE  COMMANDER
Under normal conditions, the battery will last 
approximately 1 year. (The service life may be 
shorter, depending on the conditions of use.)
When the battery becomes weak, the range of the 
remote commander (not supplied) becomes shorter. 
Replace the battery with a new CR2025 lithium 
battery. Use of any other battery may present a risk 
of fire or explosion.
Notes on the lithium battery
Keep the lithium battery out of the reach of children. 
Should the battery be swallowed, immediately 
consult a doctor.
Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure a good 
contact.
Be sure to observe the correct polarity when 
installing the battery.
Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers, 
otherwise a short-circuit may occur.
Do not expose the battery to excessive heat such as 
direct sunlight, fire or the like.
