NOTE  FOR  REPLACEMENT  OF  THE  SERVO  BOARD
When repairing, the complete SERVO board (Part No. 
A-1768-003-A) should be replaced since any parts in the SERVO 
board cannot be repaired.

NOTE  FOR  REPLACEMENT  OF  THE  AUX  JACK (J901)
To replace the AUX jack requires alignment.
1.  Insert the AUX jack into the KEY board.
2.  Place the KEY board on the front panel. 
3.  Solder the three terminals of the jack.

NOTE  FOR  THE  15-PIN  CONNECTOR (CN901)
Do not use alcohol to clean the 15-pin connector (CN901) connect-
ing the front panel with the main body.
Do not touch the connector directly with your bare hand. Poor con-
tact may be caused.

New/former discrimination:
Three kinds of following distinguish methods exist.

•  Distinguish method by serial number printed on the model 

number label

1548454 or smaller

1548455 or lager

•  Distinguish method by Part No. printed on the KEY board

•  Distinguish method by LCD driver IC (IC901) on the KEY 

board

ABOUT  CHANGE  OF  THE  LCD  DRIVER  IC (IC901)  ON  
THE  KEY  BOARD
In this unit, the LCD driver IC (IC901) on the KEY board has been 
changed in the midway of production.
The following changes are performed by this change.

•  Change of the KEY board (suffi x-21) 

(Refer to supplement-1)

•  Change of Part No. of the FRONT PANEL COMPLETE 

ASSY (Refer to page 27)

•  Change of Part No. of the MAIN board 

(Refer to page 26 and 30)

•  Change of part for Ref. No. IC501 on the MAIN board 

(Refer to page 31)

Since all the above-mentioned change is synchronous change, 
there is not compatibility of new type/former type in the front 
panel side and main unit side.
Do the work after necessarily referring to following “New/former 
discrimination”.

Note: When the parts of new front panel and the parts of former 

main unit are combined, this unit does not operate nor-
mally.
