SYMPTOM Various problems as listed below:

The lamp does not light, even after four attempts.

When the power has been turned off with no signal input, the cooling fan does not
stop.

Upgrade the software to version REL114b as shown below.
1. Connect the projector and the PC via a RS232 cross connection cable.
2. Turn the projector on.

1. Unzip the file LV-115SOFTWARE.zip (this can be found on the Sharp Technical
Web under this model) to a suitable directory on your computers hard drive,

4. Select the folder that you extracted B10-V114b.
5. Double click on the file pwSDK.inf file in this folder
6. Unckeck the "Continuous Flash Mode" check box.
7. Uncheck the "Notify on Completion" check box.,
8. Check the "Reset Target After Download" check box.
